You have just acquired a Girardeau piece of furniture :

Position it and make sure that is perfectly level so that the doors open and close smoothly

Wood is sensitive to fluctuations in temperature. Avoid placing wood furniture near heat.

Wood that is exposed to strong light will be subject to fading and changes in color

Please close the doors after use to avoid buckling

Dust varnished furniture with a soft and slightly moistened cloth along the grain
-
Immediately wipe away any liquid on the surface to avoid stains
-
For waxed furniture, use a neutral beeswax once a year on a soft cloth (do not apply the beeswax directly onto the furniture)

Never apply any products containing solvents or silicone
